Getting Closer!
Very happy to say I am fully funded for my trip as of mid-March! Thank you to all of the friends and family who selflessly gave to support me. It is truly an honor to be an ambassador on your behalf. 🙏 I am just 2 months away from the trip to Peru! I found out at our last meeting that we will not be staying in the capital city of Lima as originally planned. We will be flying to Arequipa, a city that is about 475 miles southeast and at a much higher elevation (7,661 ft). Looked that up, its elevation is higher than Denver at 1.45 miles. 🌄 A quick check of the weather shows lows of 46 and highs of 72 which will be pretty perfect weather! We are planning to spend Mon-Wed there doing the dental & medical clinics, along with ministry outreach. I bought some scrubs for working on the dental team. I'm (oddly) very excited about the role I will take on. We'll return back to Lima to spend Thurs assembling and distributing wheelchairs. With travel days on Saturday to get t...
