Medical Team
W e had our second team meeting this past Sunday. We had researched Peru between meetings and discussed everything from weather to currency, customs and greetings, to religion and language. All in an effort to get to know more about the culture of the people we will be serving. We are very blessed to have two native Peruvians on our team who add valuable personal insight to these types of discussions. W e will be working with a church in the Lima area and our team leaders are keeping in close contact with them as to the needs we can expect to see. It looks like, as of now, we may need to go outside the city of Lima to more rural areas to find folks who most need the care we can offer. As a team we remain open and willing to go wherever God leads us. This is a prayer point: that God send us where He needs us most to have the greatest impact on those who need to feel the hands and feet of Jesus through us.
